We found this little hutch at a flea market in Burnet, TX when we went to the lake house a few weekends ago. As the boys were out exploring caves, Sherry & I were antique shopping & this was one of our finds. After sanding it down, my husband & I discovered a date on the inside where the shelf goes, dating 04/23/1934. I found that to be pretty awesome! Before Jearen left for a work trip to Vegas (I miss him terribly!), he sanded the whole piece of furniture down for me, so all I had to do was paint. One day after work I went out on the back porch, opened up the paint, and 30 minutes later (I'm guessing), it was complete (other than drying of course!) The next morning before work, I brought it inside right before it started to rain, and after putting new knobs on & some red accessories, I am completely smitten about our turquoise hutch in our dining room. So bright & fun!
